ALBUM I

In 2000 Framingham
celebrated its Tercentennial. Along with other groups, the Guild was provided an
area of its own to exhibit members' artworks. Above is a float that was in the
parade.

Some of the paintings
which were exhibited at the Tercentennial Fair.
THE NEW GUILD ROOM
The Guild was allowed by the Town of Framingham to locate in the old High School
in which the Danforth Museum and the Performing Arts Center are located. The
Guild was offered a corner room on the third floor which had been used for
record storage. The room, originally a biology lab, was very dirty and painted
a garish orange and blue. Guild members, with a lot of elbow grease, scrubbed
walls, windows, cabinets and floors and painted nearly everything in
sight.
The room is now a pleasure to visit and work in.
